Creating a segment group

Use segment groups to create complex segmentation rules from the building blocks of your existing segments.

To create a segment group, click Segments in the left navigation. Click the Segment groups tab and then the Create a segment group button. Segment groups can also be created when adding or editing offer rules.

Basic details​

Enter a name for your new segment group.

Conditions​

Segment groups are constructed of three conditions. At least one must be specified. Subscribers will be included in the segment group if they match all the specified conditions.

The first condition matches subscribers that belong to any of the selected segments. The second matches subscribers that belong to all of the selected segments. The third matches subscribers that belong to none of the selected segments.

Editing a segment group​

To edit a segment group, click the pencil icon at the top of the segment group details page.

Editing a segment group's conditions may affect your live cancellation flow, so make sure to test your changes in test mode before updating segment groups that are part of your flow routing rules, offer rules or step conditions.
