Roles and responsibilities
Launching ProsperStack involves business and technical decisions across several teams. The following division of labor is a useful starting point.

| Retention owner | Flow strategy, cancellation reasons, offers, copy, approvals and success metrics |
| Technical implementation owner | Application, website, customer portal or Shopify theme integration; callbacks, signing, deployment and rollback |
| Subscription platform administrator | Credentials, permissions, test data and validation of subscription changes |
| Design or brand | Logo, imagery, tone and optional custom CSS |
| Legal or compliance | Required disclosures, acknowledgement language and cancellation requirements |
| ProsperStack team | Product guidance, platform-specific setup support and troubleshooting during onboarding, as agreed in your onboarding plan |
Depending on your organization, the technical implementation owner may work in engineering, IT, digital product, web development or ecommerce.
Your team remains responsible for production access, code and theme changes, business and legal decisions, and final launch approval. If you use a custom subscription integration, your team also owns the code that performs all subscription changes. Confirm any additional implementation services or launch support with ProsperStack.
Before you begin
Identify the owner for each implementation stage and make sure the right people have access to the systems they will manage. In particular, determine who can:
- Administer your subscription platform
- Update your application, website, customer portal or Shopify theme
- Approve your cancellation experience, offers and copy
- Validate legal and compliance requirements
- Deploy the production entry point at launch
