Import customer context

Typical owners: Customer data owner and/or technical implementation owner

While billing and subscription data are available via your connected subscription platform, importing additional customer context—such as usage metrics, customer health or loyalty points—allows for more precise customer segmentation, greater personalization and deeper reporting.

Importing your data to custom properties

To support as many data sources as possible, ProsperStack provides a variety of methods to synchronize systems. Regardless of where your data comes from, it all goes to the same place in ProsperStack: custom properties.

Flow embed

Pass subscriber and subscription custom properties in the flow embed from your application.

CRM/CDP integrations

Prosper planEnterprise plan

ProsperStack has native integrations with popular CRM/CDP platforms:

  • HubSpot, Salesforce and Intercom — map customer records to subscriber custom properties
  • Segment — send Identify traits from connected CDP sources to subscriber custom properties
  • Klaviyo — map profile properties and make Klaviyo segments available in ProsperStack
  • Yotpo — map loyalty data to subscriber custom properties

Subscription platform metadata

Prosper planEnterprise plan

When additional context is stored as metadata in your subscription platform, map it directly to custom properties (where supported). See the metadata instructions for Stripe, Chargebee and Recurly.

Custom data connectors

Prosper planEnterprise plan

Use a custom data connector when you want context to be retrieved on demand. At the start of a cancellation session, ProsperStack calls your endpoint with subscriber and subscription details. The endpoint then returns values to map to custom properties before segmentation and routing logic are evaluated.

API

Prosper planEnterprise plan

Use the ProsperStack API to update subscriber or subscription custom properties from your application, data pipeline or automation platform.

File processing

Enterprise plan

Enterprise customers can arrange recurring automated processing of customer data delivered through an Amazon S3 bucket or FTP. This option is suited to scheduled batch exports and systems that cannot send updates through an API.
